Located 100 yards north of U.S. Route 1 on Route 100 in Chadds Ford, PA. Convenient parking is just across the street.

Hours

Open March through November, Saturday and Sunday only, 12 Noon to 4 P. M.  For other times, please call to make an appointment.

Admission

There is no charge for admission; however, we are a nonprofit museum and we would appreciate any donations.

Nearby

There are numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities within walking distance. For fine dining, visit the newly renovated Brandywine Prime (formerly the Chadds Ford Inn). For a quick meal in a casual atmosphere, walk across the street to Hank’s Place, a Chadds Ford landmark for many years. For overnight accomodations, try the Brandywine River Hotel, a modern take on colonial style. For shopping, walk to The Wooden Knob Antiques and Fine Furnishings or the Chadds Ford Gallery.

Nearby museums include the Chadds Ford Historical Society with its two historic house museums, the John Chads House and the Barns-Brinton House; the Brandywine Battlefield Park; and the Brandywine River Museum, which showcases American and Wyeth family art.
